Out and About: Championes! Come on the Celtics

There was a strong CPH POST connection to the only one of Copenhagen Celtic’s teams to win a trophy this year: the Old Boys, who triumphed in the DAI 7OB A League.

but in the daring 1-3-2 formation favoured by Jim Goodley (above), the roles were reversed.

With room for only one defender, Ben (above) found himself mostly on the sidelines plotting how he could get his own back in his match reports. Chris Myers, a former sales manager at CPH POST, was similarly sidelined!

Coming into the final game, Celtics needed to win their 11th game in 12 to lift the title, but faced a resolute FC Konkret outfit who themselves needed three points to avoid relegation. But still, it was not a task that player of the season Ken Klarskov (above) was going to shy away from.
