Beat it Conchita, one of Europe’s most popular metal festivals, Copenhell, is back to celebrate “five years in Hell” and release Refshaleøen from the clutches of Eurovision.
Forty bands over three days of some of the giants of the metal genre: Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister, Sepultura and Megadeth together with upcoming bands such as the brilliant Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats.
Copenhell is not just a full out metal assault – the huge festival area has themed hangouts with sideshow events involving swords, coffins, metal karaoke, fun with fire and a Biergarten party – all in the perfect industrial settings of the old shipyard.
