Journalism intern

The Copenhagen Post accepts applications for internships on an on-going basis.

Interns are primarily responsible for assisting the news team by writing news articles, covering events, helping to maintain our website and performing general newsroom tasks.

The unpaid internship is an ideal opportunity for non-native speakers to gain working experience writing in English.

A knowledge of Danish is useful, but not required. Prior experience in journalism is beneficial, but not expected – enthusiasm and interest in the news are.

Internships typically last for six months, and can be part or full-time.

Please send your application and CV, along with any writing samples, to: hr@cphpost.dk, noting “Journalist Intern” in the subject field.

For more information, please contact Editor-in-Chief Kevin McGwin on 3336 3300.

Translation intern

The Copenhagen Post is looking for a part-time intern interested in gaining experience translating from Danish to English.

You will primarily translate opinion pieces written in Danish to be published in print and online. Other translation and writing assignments are also possible.

The internship is an ideal opportunity for anyone seeking experience translating from Danish to colloquial English.

An interest in current Danish and international events is an advantage.

We are looking for interns who can start immediately, as well as for the summer and autumn.

Please send your application and CV, along with any writing samples, to: hr@cphpost.dk, noting “Translation Intern” in the subject field.

For more information, please contact Editor-in-Chief Kevin McGwin on 3336 3300.
