The newly-established Danish-Australian Business Network (DABN) held its inaugural event on October 2 at EY, where 70 participants enjoyed welcome drinks, networking, a light buffet and an introduction to the network from its co-founder Lauren Morrissey, an Australian who works for EY in transaction advisory services and was earlier this year featured on the Weekly Post’s Workplace page (see cphpost.dk).

She was followed by Australian ambassador Damien Miller, who gave a presentation on economic diplomacy in Denmark, and Lars Sandahl Sørensen, the group director and COO of SAS who spoke about his role at SAS and his Australian business experience. Pictured right are (left-right) Morrissey, Sørensen and Miller. The other co-founder of DABN is Rebecca Marshall, the second officer at the Australian Embassy.
