Timberlake will perform his hit single ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’ on the show that will be broadcast live on DR1.

This is the first time in Eurovision history that a world-renowned star with no direct association with the show will perform.

“We are proud to welcome one of the world’s greatest artists! It is an honour and an inspiration to all of us,” said Martin Österdahl, the executive producer for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

Swedes abound
“We are very pleased and excited that Justin Timberlake will perform his new song with his band on our show,” said this year’s Eurovision producer Sven Stojanovic.

“It is extra special that Swedish songwriters Max Martin and Shellback helped write and produce the song with Justin Timberlake.”
