While showers and windy weather will prevail over the northern part of the country, those down south can look forward to a summer-like afternoon until a cold front passing through later tonight brings rain and possible thunderstorms.

Southern Jutland, Funen and large parts of Zealand will see the sun break through and temperatures rising as high as 24 degrees.

Enjoy it while you can
The sunshine won’t last long, as rain and thunderstorms will start spreading across the country during the early evening.

Thus far, summer has only offered up 24 days with temperatures above 25 degrees: one in June, seven in July and the rest in August.
