Filiorum – Theatre Magic for Christmas
Filiorum is a new theatre performance space for children and young adults. The rooms at the Gentofte School of Culture will be transformed into a winter landscape where children and their parents can experience the imaginative and magical universe of theatre. They have two shows running: Blue and Paper Moon. Each child will take receive an ‘artistic laboratory’ box to continue exploring theatre at home.

Boxland at Carlsberg – Snow Winterland
A Christmas village has arrived at Boxland by Carlsberg, where 20 tonnes of snow has magically appeared creating areas for children to delight in sledding. Families can weave through a forest of 400 Christmas trees to pick out just the right one. Treats and mulled wine will also be offered along with a pony ride.

Geek Camp for the Whole Family
Danish Technological Institute, the Orange Innovation (Roskilde Festival innovation company) and DR have developed a hands-on tech family workshop.  This is a one-of-a-kind for the whole family to geek out to in Nerd Julelab. Tickets are limited, so get yours fast!

Garderhøjfortet – Xmas Soldier Experience
Experimentarium has created some amazing hands-on experiences at the fort that allow you to experience how the soldiers celebrated Christmas long ago.  On weekends in December, and between Christmas and New Year, you can get into the Christmas spirit with activities for the whole family like: writing a Christmas card with real ink, making your own tin soldier, firing the guns, training the troops, cutting the old-fashioned Christmas decorations and going in search of the elves at the fort.
