Body found in Peblinge Sø identified

Police do not suspect criminal activity in death of 49-year-old woman

The body was found by a passer-by on Tuesday morning (Open Street Maps)

A body that was found in Pebling Sø, one of the Lakes in central Copenhagen, on Tuesday has been identified.

“It is a 49-year-old woman from Greater Copenhagen,” Henrik Olesen of the Copenhagen Police told Ritzau, adding that woman’s next of kin had been notified. 

Police say that there is nothing to indicate that there was anything criminal about her death.

The woman’s body was found by a local resident Tuesday morning just before 7am.
