As hosts of a Nordic tournament at Kløvermarken on June 14, the pressure was on Copenhagen GAA to deliver and they duly did, celebrating their tenth year of existence by going unbeaten through the tournament and beating Stockholm in the final.

Star player Kevin Connelly picks out a pass under Stockholm pressure with Colm O’Sullivan and Ciaran Fitzpatrick looking on.

Meanwhile, the women’s team (pictured with team mascot Tony Kennedy) lost a close semi-final game despite the efforts of Ann O’Connor to eventual winners Malmö. Both teams will be in action again in the final regional tournament in Helsinki on August 23.
