The weekend ahead promises to be cold and wintry on Saturday and especially Sunday.
Temperatures will drop below freezing on Friday night and then get colder as the weekend progresses. On Sunday night, they could dip as low as 5-10 degrees below zero.
The cold will be mostly accompanied by snow, but how much depends on your location.
Most places – Jutland, Funen, Zealand and Lolland-Falster – will get a taste of the snow, which will start falling as sleet or freezing rain on Saturday.
Sunday looks set to be the day when the most snow will fall and remain. Amounts will range from two to five centimetres.
Those who enjoy snow should make sure they get out over the weekend, because temperatures will start to rise again on Monday and return to 10 degrees by Wednesday.
