Heat wave weekend on the way ... and very possibly two!
There's good news for sun-loving boys and girls
Don't forget the sunscreen this weekend, because it's going to be sunny and hot for a couple of days – at the very least!
DMI reports that Denmark can look forward to a whole week of dry summer weather, as temperatures hover around the 25-degree mark, although this could easily crank up a notch as the week progresses.
Southwestern Jutland is expected to be the warmest place this weekend, with temperatures expected to top 30 degrees.
Some clouds and winds
However, the sun is not going to shine from a clear blue sky on every day.
Some clouds will be moving in over the country on Saturday and there might also be some brisk winds blowing on Sunday, but none of that should scare the sun-worshippers off from hitting the beaches.
Long-term prognosis looks good
Looking further ahead, according to DMI's long-term prognosis the warm weather is expected to continue until the end of next week and then get even hotter as we approach August.
