Hours before her strangled body was found by a home help worker, 77-year-old Else Johannesen’s credit card was used by someone looking to buy sex toys from an online erotic boutique.

“We got a call from the police,” Michael Peter Hansen, the owner of sexshop.dk told TV2 News. “They had traced someone attempting to use the woman’s credit card in our shop.”

Petersen said that he had given the police the IP address and other information that the shop had collected on the person trying to use the card. Hansen said that he is usually very protective of his client’s information, but made an exception in this case to help the police solve “this terrible crime”.

An in-home assistant found the 77-year-old Johannesen dead in her Lemvig apartment last Saturday morning.

Mid and west Jutland Police currently have a 15-year-old boy in custody in relation to the case, but they would not confirm the sex toy purchase story.

Police had been searching for the dead woman’s purse, which was missing from her flat when her body was discovered.

"Very strange"
Hansen said that the credit card was used in an attempt to buy a 1,839 kroner plastic female body simulator called 'Fuck Me Silly'. The transaction was blocked.

“It is very strange if you have just killed someone and then go online to buy sex toys,” he said. “We have seen a lot, but this...”

The15-year-old was scheduled for a preliminary hearing today.
