A European arrest warrant has been filed against Milos Petrovic, a Serbian national, whose assault of a female bus driver last Thursday was caught on CCTV and broadcast across the country.

The bus driver had to be treated in hospital for injuries to her head as a result of the unprovoked attack with a blunt object.

Police say the video footage helped identify Petrovic, who is now on the run.

“Milos Petrovic is considered to be unstable and dangerous, which is why the police are requesting the public not to try and apprehend him but instead contact the police,” states a press release from Nordsjællands Politiet.

Petrovic is described as being 170 centimeters tall, with a slight build and dark hair with gray flecks.
