Multiple media outlets are reporting this morning that the government will step in today to put an end to the school lockout that has stretched to four weeks.
According to the reports, the cabinet of PM Helle Thorning-Schmidt will meet this morning and present the government's plan to end the conflict at 10am.
TV2 News reports that the government cannot push through an intervention on its own and would need a majority of parliament to back up its plan. That would require the support of either far-left party Enhedslisten or the opposition parties.
The Copenhagen Post will have more on the end to the lockout later today.
