Furniture for the people!

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of furniture designer Børge Mogensen at Designmuseum Danmark.

Mogensen, who trained under Kaare Klint, is known for his contribution to the modern conception of ‘Danish design’, working alongside heavy-hitters such as Arne Jacobsen.

Mogensen is perhaps best recognised for his functional, everyday designs, such as his well-loved ‘People’s Chair’.

This exhibition looks back on the life of  Mogensen as both man and designer.

This solo show from Spanish artist Paco Pomet will feature only brand new works. Pomet specialises in surrealism, and his pieces often incorporate a fair amount of social commentary.
