Train strike continues to cause headaches
No agreement reached in overnight talks
Travellers headed to Sweden or Copenhagen Airport need to give themselves plenty of time. That is the advice from DSB after talks last night failed to produce an agreement among workers and management at Swedish train operator Veolia. The strike could continue to slow traffic for another two weeks.
DSB is using buses to transport passengers between Copenhagen and Malmø, which results in significantly longer travel times. In Copenhagen, the best idea is probably to use the Metro to get to the airport, as the strike in Sweden is affecting travel times on the Øresund train inside of Denmark. One group of airport-bound passengers waited 20 minutes at Copenhagen's main station for an engineer to show up and drive the train
