Heavy metal fans were throwing their devil horns in the air yesterday, as Copenhell announced the addition of four international acts to June’s festival.

American death metal band Dying Fetus, Swedish extreme metal act Meshuggah, New Wave of British Heavy Metal pioneers Saxon, and the Max Cavalera-led Soulfly were added to a line-up already filled with some of the biggest names in the genre.

Headlining the festival, held June 15-16 at Refshaleøen, are Slayer and Marilyn Manson, with support from acts including Lamb of God, Mastodon, Anthrax, Immortal, and Trivium.

In related news, Copenhell recently received the Ibyen Prize for ‘Event of the Year’ from Politiken newspaper.
