A Danish student has been kicked out of a distinguished ballet school for acting in pornography in his spare time, according to the Canadian national broadcaster CBC.

22-year-old Jeppe Hansen has danced at the Royal Danish Opera and at the Tivoli Ballet and has also studied and danced in New York and Montreal.

But in March he was forced out of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School after the school learned of his extracurricular activities.

While he signed a document saying he voluntarily left the ballet school, he told CBC that he regretted that the school did not feel like they had space for him.

"Being told because you're doing something else that's interrupting with what we think you can do is really difficult because they know it's your passion, they know that that's what you live off,” Hansen said. “They know my entire identity's built on it. So it was really difficult to be told that and to be told, 'You know what? There's no space for you here.'"

Hansen now lives in New York where he is pursuing a career as a full-time porn star with the website Cocky Boys under the alias Jett Black.

But while he is taking a break from dancing, he does not think his on-stage career is over.

"I'm taking a break from performing and I'll take this break until I find a place where I can fit in as a ballet dancer," he told CBC.

Cocky Boys, on the other hand, seem pleased about their latest acquisition.

“He’s a very passionate guy with the ability to express himself to the core, with a certain raw energy that comes out particularly when he’s on camera,” the website states about the aspiring young Dane.

On Twitter today, Hansen thanked his fans for their support after CBC broke the story.

“Thank you to everyone for your tremendous support today. You give me inspiration and pride to be the artist and the person I need to be.”
