48-hour Nørrebro Culture Festival – People in Nørrebro invite you to spend 48 hours discovering all the great culture that this Copenhagen district offers. Everybody is welcome as there’s something for every taste – no matter if you’re a night or morning person, into music or sports, or if you’re young or old. The 48 hours include concerts, architectural rides, parties, workshops, cooking, dancing and much more.  Various venues in Cph N; Fri–Sun, begins Fri 16:00, ends at Sun 16:00; 48timerpublikum@gmail.com

Opening concert – Skip the Friday beer at the office and go to a great opening concert with Darkness Falls, Lasse Boman and Mikael Simpson. The mood is great, the concert is free and the bar is cheap.

Architectural bike ride – Bring your bike and go on one of the more active events during the festival, when the Danish Architecture Center invites you on a bike ride around the neighborhood. You get a chance to see some of the new buildings and development projects that have begun in the decade.

Start point at the university, Prinsesse Charlottesgade; Sat and Sun, 11:00-13:00; adm 50kr; sign up on Facebook; remember your own bike

Family events on Jægersborggade – The shops on the popular street open their doors with many family events. The day includes kids’ tattoos at the tattooist, an exhibition by 35 different illustrators in the CMYK basement, a photo exhibition at Terroristen, and free treatment samples at Schenmen.

Hygge in the Mjølner Parc – One of the things that make Nørrebro special is the multicultural landscape, which is why this event is about positive integration. The day includes different meals and music by the locals. So bring your own meal or music and join the activities no matter what your cultural background is.

Samba Sunday – The festival ends with a hell of a samba concert, where the entire family can dance away to the Brazilian rhythms.
