After being stopped entirely for several hours this afternoon, S-train service has resumed on two lines, though passengers can expect continued disruptions and altered schedules.

Service is expected to resume as normal in an hour. DSB has reportedly identifed the source of the electrical problem that was damaging trains earlier today and let to the near complete shutdown of the commuter rail service that carries 300,000 people daily.

According to DSB, at this point, lines B and C have resumed normal service.

Line B trains, however, will continue to Hillerød, instead of stopping in Holte as normal. Line B trains will stop at all stations.

Line C has resumed service between Frederikssund and Klampenborg.

Service on line F remains unaffected.

Service on lines A, E and H has yet to resume. These routes continue to be served by coach service. According to DSB, coaches stop at all stations, typcially in front of the main entrance. The number of coaches is limited, however, and DSB suggests finding alternate forms of transport, if possible.
