Building on the spate of gun violence in the city and surrounding areas, three shootings occurred yesterday.

The first shooting was in Bagsværd, where at least four shots were fired at a 17-year-old male, who was not hit. The shots came from a black Citroën, which was set on fire shortly after the incident. The car was reported stolen last October and follows a trend of perpetrators torching the vehicles involved in shooting incidents. The police have arrested one man in connection with the shooting, which according to them was not related to the gang environment.

Later in the day, ten shots were fired at two cars in Hvidovre near the clubhouse of the biker gang Bandidos. No one was hurt and the police have arrested four people.

In the evening, a 23-year-old man was shot in Tingbjerg. The man was hit in the chest but managed to get himself to Rigshospitalet. He is reported as being in stable condition.

The police have not yet said if the shootings in Bagsværd and Tingbjerg are connected to the ongoing gang conflict.
