Parts of central Odense closed due to bomb threat

Police have cordoned off an area in the city centre and evacuated some residents and businesses

Police have closed off an area around a job centre in central Odense due to a bomb threat, according to fyens.dk.

The job centre is located on downtown Vindegade, and much of the surrounding area is closed. Firefighters in Odense said that the threat came in at 13:36 this afternoon.

Emergency equipment onhand
A bomb squad and bomb-sniffing dogs have been sent to the scene. Emergency equipment is standing by, and traffic in the area, including public transportation, has been impacted.
