Move over Siku the polar bear, Denmark has its newest internet star.

A video of two-year-old William Stokkebroe shaking his stuff to Elvis’s ‘Jailhouse Rock’ has gone viral, garnering more than two million views in just a week.

The video (see it below) was shot in connection with the opening of a new dance studio, studie43, by his parents Kristina and Peter Stokkebroe. The Stokkebroes are no strangers to dancing success themselves, having won the world championship in Latin dancing in 2010.

The Aarhus couple opened their new studio on March 2 and during the gala celebration, little William took to the floor to dance the jive. The ensuing video, entitled ‘2 year old dancing the jive’, was uploaded to YouTube on March 15 and by the following week it was being featured on websites worldwide.

“William dances every single day, we simply can’t stop him,” Peter Stokkebroe told tv2.dk. “We teach dance and when we come home after a long work day and William points to the stereo because he wants to dance, we can become a bit tired.”

Apparently not ones to let their son’s internet success go to waste, the couple is selling dancing shoes named ‘William’ on their site, claiming that they are “the perfect shoes to all boy dancers”. They sell for 549 kroner.
