Denmark has ranked among the top five European countries in StudyPortal’s 2015 International Student Satisfaction Awards.
A total of 223 international students evaluated their study experience at the local universities as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’.
On average, their Danish universities received a score of 8.89, placing the country in fourth position.
Students reported having a particularly good experience at Aalborg University, Aarhus University, the DTU, the University of Copenhagen and VIA University College.
Ireland the best
The best performing country this year was Ireland, followed by Finland and Sweden.
According to StudyPortals, international student satisfaction continues to remain high in Europe, with 86 percent of students being satisfied with their study abroad experience.
However, only five universities fell into the ‘outstanding’ category with a minimum score of 9.5: Poznan University of Economics (Poland), Wageningen University (the Netherlands), the University of Heidelberg (Germany), Maynooth University (Ireland) and the University of Gothenburg (Sweden).
The awards were based on 17,018 student reviews during the 2014-2015 academic year.
