Kim Larsen turns 70 today
On this day in 1945, Denmark’s most popular ever singer, Kim Larsen, was born in Copenhagen.
Larsen, who is often referred to as ‘Denmark’s national bard’, has sold millions of records across a range of different genres – both as a solo artist and as the frontman of bands like Gasolin (1969-78) and Kim Larsen & Kjukken (from 1995).
