The South Asian countries of neighbouring Pakistan and Bangladesh both celebrated their national days towards the end of last month, and they were colourful affairs, with Pakistan even finding space to stage its own fashion show.
Held at the residence of its ambassador Masroor A Junejo (above in black) in Copenhagen on March 23, guests also enjoyed food and music.
Among the guests were (left-right) Vietnamese ambassador Trough Thanh Nguyen and Japanese ambassador Seishi Suei.
Bangladesh, meanwhile, celebrated its national day with a reception at the residence of its ambassador Muhammad Abdul Muhit (red tie) on April 1 in Copenhagen, where the guests included Australian ambassador Damien Miller.
Among the other diplomats present were (left-right on front row) Nepalese ambassador Mukti Nath Bhatta (front row), Indian ambassador Rajev Shahare, Japanese ambassador Seishi Suei, Slovenian ambassador Tone Kajzer and Turkish ambassador Trough Thanh Nguyen.
And the Bangledeshi community were also well represented.
