CTC Fringe Festival

April showers may bring flowers … but May brings in a whole new crop of performing arts in the form of the 3rd Annual Copenhagen Theatre Circle Fringe Festival, three nights packed with one-act plays in English showcasing Copenhagen’s best up-and-coming directors, playwrights and actors.

Like last year, there are ten plays on the line-up (see below).

Eric Maganga is among the writer-directors returning to take part again. Speaking of his new work, he asks whether his protagonists can “overcome their overdrinking and learn to be themselves without hiding behind their accessories”.

As an organisation dedicated to making performing arts accessible and interactive for all, CTC also engages in various other events open to the public, such as play readings, improvisation workshops, open mic nights, a video club and the popular Poetry & Pints.

At just 75kr a night, the CTC contends this is “a steal” to experience talented artists in such a variety of performances.

Be ready to laugh, cry, and be inspired – don’t miss this festival!
