Come celebrate the holiday season with us at our unique take on the Danish julefrokost, where we have mashed up the best of Danish Christmas traditions for a festive and fun-filled afternoon!

We’re bringing together the best of Danish Christmas traditions for a cozy, festive, and fun-filled afternoon.

Whether you’re an international newcomer or a seasoned local, this is your chance to experience the magic of a classic Danish julefrokost with a unique twist.

Event Details:

Date and time: Saturday 7. December 2024, 15:00 – 22:00
Location: The Copenhagen Post Headquarters, Ryesgade 106A, 2 Th, 2100 København Ø

  • Doors open at 3:00 PM: Arrive early to mingle with other internationals while you make traditional Danish Christmas decorations—create Christmas hearts, cones, and help decorate our Christmas tree.
  • 3:30 PM – Welcome Speech: Jesper Skeel will kick things off and greet everyone with a warm welcome.
  • 4:00 PM – Bingo Time: It’s time to play some classic bingo! We’ve got a range of fun prizes for the winners, a staple of any Danish Christmas party.
  • 5:30 PM – Christmas Dinner: Our family-style dinner will feature a delicious spread of traditional Danish Christmas favorites. Savor duck breast, crispy roasted pork with crackling, brown sauce, boiled potatoes, and caramelized brown potatoes (a must-try Danish holiday delicacy!). Plus, don’t forget the red cabbage! It might sound like an unusual combination but trust us—it’s delicious.
  • Dessert – Risalamande with Cherry Sauce: No Danish Christmas is complete without this creamy rice pudding, topped with a generous serving of cherry sauce. See if you can find the whole almond hidden in your portion for a chance to win a prize—it’s trickier than it sounds!
  • Drinks: We’ll have a selection of beer, sodas, schnapps, and port wine available throughout the event. You can also purchase red and white wine during the evening.
  • Post-Dinner Fun – Pakkeleg: After dinner, get ready for a lively game of pakkeleg, a competitive gift-wrapping game that’s always a hit at Danish Christmas parties. How many gifts will you take home? Please bring a small present to be a part of the gift pile.
  • Event Conclusion: We’ll wrap up the evening at 10:00 PM with good cheer and a heartfelt Glædelig Jul (Merry Christmas) to all!
