China warns Copenhagen Democracy Summit: “You’re damaging relations”

A press briefing between Danish and international media and Chinese diplomats took place earlier today at the Chinese Embassy. Ambassador Wang Xuefeng sent a message to the organizers of the Copenhagen Democracy Summit—and Danish politicians in general—saying, “We oppose any visits aimed at establishing ties with separatists. The Alliance of Democracies has ignored international law. We strongly deplore this.”
