We hope you have enjoyed the summer.
We’re ready to kick off the second half of 2025 with another great Connect Club event.
Following the great success of our recent tours, Connect Club is delighted to invite you to an exclusive guided visit to Frederiksberg Town Hall, one of Denmark’s architectural gems and a living symbol of local democracy.
Completed in 1953 and designed by architects Henning Hansen and Arthur Wittmaack, Frederiksberg Town Hall is widely celebrated for its elegant functionalist style, clean lines, and iconic 60-meter clock tower.
The building stands as a proud testament to modernist ideals, reflecting both aesthetic simplicity and civic transparency. Inside, you will find grand halls adorned with marble, beautiful woodwork, and impressive murals, all contributing to a unique atmosphere that blends formality with welcoming openness.

Your guide for the afternoon is Deputy Mayor Lone Loklindt, group leader for the Social Liberal Party (Radikale Venstre) at Frederiksberg City Council. Lone has been an active voice in Danish politics for over two decades, including serving as a member of the Danish Parliament from 2011 to 2015.
During the tour, Lone will not only share stories about the building’s architectural highlights and historical significance, but also offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into local governance and the current political issues facing Frederiksberg. And hopefully we can get a chance to get a view from the town hall tower.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion about the city’s development, from green initiatives to cultural projects.
