Vaccination action stations: Don’t forget that GPs and pharmacies are also jabbing the public!

A fair number of chemists and doctors in the Capital Region are chipping in to help the government realise its vaccination strategy

If you are among the hundreds of thousands queuing up to book a COVID-19 vaccination time, don’t forget that there are alternative avenues to pursue when getting jabbed.

For instance, from today a total of 60 pharmacies across the Copenhagen region will be vaccinating the public.

“The health authority wants everyone over 40 to be vaccinated before New Year’s Eve – which is 3.5 million vaccinations. For them to reach that goal, we need to help out,” said Jesper Gulev Larsen, the head of pharmacy association Apotekerforeningen.

You can see which pharmacies offer the jab on this list map, which is updated as more regions ink deals with the pharmacies.

Another path to vaccination could also be through your own doctor.

From Hellerup and Hvidovre to Frederiksberg and Farum, GPs across the Capital Region offer the corona jab.
