Tibet demo outside Chinese Embassy – updated

Dansk Selskab for Tibetansk Kultur and Students for a Free Tibet are tomorrow holding a demonstration in front of the Chinese Embassy in Hellerup. The protest will also send a message out regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Previously, it was reported that a Tibet-Ukraine march would leave Østerport Station at 15:00 and stop for a while outside the Russian Embassy before making its way on to the Chinese Embassy, but the march has now been cancelled, Students for a Free Tibet informed CPH POST last night.

For the demo, meet at the Chinese Embassy at Øregårds Allé 25 in Hellerup at 17:00.

What else is on tomorrow
Meanwhile, in related news, the organisation ‘Refugees Welcome’ is holding a press conference tomorrow that you can access through Facebook Live.

It will discuss how Syrian refugees are being let down, both in Denmark and abroad.

The participants are Nadia Hardman (Human Rights Watch), Lisa Blinkenberg (Amnesty International), Nadine Kheshen (Alef Lebanon, Refugee Protection Watch), Mohanad Alhosini (Syrian Association for Citizens’ Dignity), and Michala Clante Bendixen (Refugees Welcome)
