The PM’s office has revealed that NATO secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg will visit Denmark tomorrow.
Stoltenberg will meet with PM Mette Frederiksen, as well as the foreign minister, Jeppe Kofod, and defence minister, Morten Bødskov.
The principal topic of discussion is the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, as well as Finland and Sweden’s desire to join NATO.

Frederiksen said that the security situation in Europe has changed with Putin’s “brutal war in Ukraine”.
“I look forward to meeting with NATO’s secretary-general and discussing how we can react to Russia’s aggressive behaviour in the future,” said Frederiksen.
“And with Sweden and Finland wanting to become members of NATO, we stand before an important and historic NATO summit in June, where we will ensure that the alliance will continue to adjust to the new security-political reality.”
Denmark has stated on numerous occasions that it fully supports its Nordic neighbours becoming members of NATO.
