Doukaev admits identity

Bomber states he is Lors Doukaev during court appearance

Copenhagen bomber Lors Doukaev has today for the first time admitted his identity.

Doukaev, who was appearing at Copenhagen City Court has previously refused to reveale his identity, stating that he did not remember his name.

Doukaev, who is being held on remand until 4 October, with the first nine days spent in isolation. The court decided to extend his period of isolation until 4 October.

Police arrested Doukaev on 10 September in a Copenhagen’s Ørstedsparken in conjunction with a minor explosion at a nearby hotel.
