Neil Young & Crazy Horse come rockin’ in Copenhagen

Recently announced: Canadian legends coming to Copenhagen this summer

A massive European tour for Neil Young and Crazy Horse will commence in early June, spanning from the UK to Germany and down to Italy. With the initial tour announcement it appeared that the Canadian-born rock legend was missing a stopover in Scandinavia.

Fear not, Young fans. This 'Old Man' has just announced an additional concert date at Forum in Copenhagen on August 12. This will be the first time in over a decade that the group will be together in Denmark, bringing with them their newly-released album Psychedelic Pill, which received critical acclaim and was the second of two 2012 releases, following their re-imagining of American folk songs, Americana.

Rolling Stone raved about the newest album and had nothing but praise for the 66-year-old rocker: "Young may feel like the last hippie standing, but he still sounds like a guy who believes the dreaming is not done." And Politiken was so enamoured by the new tracks that they recommended "the psychedelic pill should be prescribed to all."

See for yourself whether you're overdue for your dose of Young. Tickets, which will cost 745 kroner go on sale Monday, March 11 through livenation.dk or billetnet.dk.
