Dane kidnapped in Syria

Læger uden Grænser, the Danish branch of Doctors without Borders (MSF), has confirmed that a Danish national is among five MSF workers who have been kidnapped in northern Syria.

“We are in contact with all relevant parties and the employees’ families, and are doing all that we can to re-establish contact with our colleagues,” Læger uden Grænser said in a statement. “Out of consideration for our colleagues’ safety, Læger uden Grænser will not release any additional information at this point.”
