Gaelic lads looking good for their home tournament

The gaelic football season is alive and kicking, and it started well for the city’s side, Copenhagen GAA, which was anxious to bounce back after a disappointing season in 2013.

Playing in Oslo on May 10, the men’s team won their first three games (vs  Oslo, Malmo and Gothenburg) and drew with Stockholm, topping the group stage.

But in the end, injuries took their toil in the final in which the focused hosts reversed their earlier defeat to record their first ever tournament victory.

Copenhagen’s Brian Kelly deservedly won player of the tournament, and he and the lads are now eagerly looking forward to their next tournament, at home in Copenhagen on June 14 at Kløvermarken.
