Asylum seeker ordered expelled from Denmark for improperly touching young boy at a waterpark

Court not swayed by accused’s contention that he was just trying to help the boy wash himself

A 22-year-old asylum seeker has been ordered deported by district court in Holstebro after being convicted of indecent behaviour with a 10-year-old boy.

The 22-year-old man, who is originally from Iran, touched the child on both his penis and his testicles in the shower room of Holstebro Badeland last November. The convicted man told the court that he was trying to help the boy wash himself.

Offence knows no boundaries
“It is nearly insane to think that you can just start washing another person’s genitals,” prosecutor Søren Kløvborg said during the proceedings, according to Dagbladet Holstebro. “No matter what culture you come from, you should know what is offensive.”
