Copenhagen ranked the world’s sixth most cultured city

Europe absolutely dominates, taking every spot in the top 15

Europe dominates a list of the world’s most cultured cities compiled by Uswitch that places Copenhagen in sixth place, making it the leader in the Nordics.

A study considered 69 of the world’s leading cities, and Europe accounted for the entire top 15.

Museum, landmark and more
The study took into account the number of museums, landmarks, theatres, and cultural tours for every 100,000 inhabitants.

With 1.7 tours per 100,000 people and 3.5 museums, Copenhagen was able to achieve a score of 8.56 out of 10.

Uswitch applauded Copenhagen as a city in which it is impossible to have a dull day.

At the top of the list
Prague topped the ranking with a score of 9.85 – testament to its 200 historical parks and 15 landmarks per every 100,000 inhabitants.

Amsterdam (9.81), Dublin (9.48), Rome (9.26), and Munich (8.6) completed the top five. And after Copenhagen in sixth, Budapest, London, Berlin and Milan completed the top ten.

No other Nordic cities made the top 15.
