Today, three or four Russian naval vessels will pass through Danish waters as they return from Saint Petersburg on their way to their respective naval bases.

As is customary every year, in order for the ships to return to their bases, they will under the Great Belt Bridge, which links the Danish islands of Zealand and Funen.

Danish Defence will be watching
Danish Defence will be following the Russian ships closely as they make their way through – either by helicopter, plane or ship.

The close monitoring is considered to be standard procedure.
