Book a trip to banish the winter blues

Slowly but surely Copenhagen is getting back on track, leaving Christmas and the holidays behind. But without the festive cheer, it becomes more difficult to bear this endless winter.
Do not despair! As you probably know, the best recipe to survive the winter is to plan sunny holidays. Right on cue, you’re saved by the annual Holiday Fair Exhibition, which offers all the inspiration you might need for arranging your next adventure.

It’s a modern and innovative concept that will inspire you through travel lectures, competitions, culinary experiences and other fun activities. And because more than 100 exhibitions, a restaurant and street kitchen had to all go under one roof, Forum CPH was chosen as the location of the event. After you’ve seen enough travel stands, you can listen to Mikkel Beha’s sea stories or actually cook your own lunch in the pop-up gastronomy class within the street food area where you can enjoy food from all over the world. You’ll be guided by chef Timm Vladimir and his team, and at the end of the 20-minute cooking session, you’ll get to take the recipe home.

Visit Forum CPH on January 17 or 18 – for just 85kr, you can discover your next destination and get all the tips on how to make it a holiday to remember.

Open Jan 17-18; Forum Copenhagen, Julius Thomsens Plads 1,  Frederiksberg; open Sat 10:00-18:00, Sun 10:00-17:00; tickets: over-15s 85kr, under-15s free adm; Timm Vladimir’s Pop-Up Gastronomy School  240kr; ferieiforum.dk
