Roskilde Festival now sold out

Hopefully, you’ll have better luck next year

The Copenhagen Post reported on Tuesday that the Roskilde Festival, featuring headlining acts such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Niel Young, was close to being sold out.

For those of you still hoping to score some last-minute passes, your luck’s run out! The festival’s website posted late yesterday evening that all 80,000 festival passes are now completely sold out.

Better each year
Festival spokesperson Christina Bilde said in a press release that festival organisers were thrilled tickets sold out so far in advance.

“It‘s fantastic that we once again sold out well in advance – even earlier than last year! This means that 80,000 participants have chosen the full festival experience, where they can immerse themselves in our community for eight full days.” 

However, don’t despair yet – there may still be a chance to get in on at least some of the action. The website reports that there are still one-day tickets available for Wednesday 29 June and Thursday 30 June. So hurry!
