The US heavy metal band ‘System of a Down’ (SOAD) will perform as the headliner at next year’s Copenhell festival in the Danish capital.
SOAD last visited Denmark in 2005, when the group gave a concert at Valby Hallen.
This will be the band’s first performance at a Danish festival.
SOAD was formed in 1994 in Los Angeles, but some of the band members have roots in Armenia.
The group achieved great commercial success with albums ‘Toxicity’ and ‘Mezmerize’ and won a Grammy Award for single ‘B.Y.O.B.’, which questions military recruitment in the US.
