Sømods Bolcher – The history of this shop and the secret recipes go as far back as 1891, so along with tasty treats one gets a taste of a century old tradition. They offer ‘rock candy’ in an astoundingly wide range of varieties. Lots of flavours, sugar-free options, for people with allergies and without, and more. Additionally, on some days, you can take a tour of the place and be treated to some sweet-making demonstrations (sugar folding and the like). But book first.

Bajrami Bolsjer – Not only can one buy many fragrant sweets here, but it’s also possible to get your hands on some raw materials and try making them yourself. Check out the recipes and instructions on the website. Bajrami Bolsjer produces sweets on a daily basis, so that every day the product is fresh and tasty. They also offer a sugar-free option, so everyone can enjoy a bit of sweetness.

Bolsjehuset – If you have a taste for DIY sweets and rock-candy look no further. This is the place where you’ll find all the necessary ingredients (and colouring and powders), appliances, accessories and much more for your home-made sweets. Beginners can get a start-pack, with all the materials ready at hand, as well as recipes and advice. And more advanced creators can restock their supply here. The prices are very good.
