Olivia Østergaard, the 20-year-old Danish woman who went missing in Switzerland, has been found dead.
The Swiss news site 20min.ch reported that a body that police found near the municipality of Oberägeri earlier today has now been identified as the missing Dane. According to the report, the body bore no signs of an attack.
Østergaard disappeared from her apartment in the Swiss city of Zug on March 26. Her boyfriend reported her missing after she left for university early that morning and never returned.
Swiss police had previously suggested that Østergaard had drowned herself in the Lake of Zug, but her family dismissed that report as thin since it was based on a witness who said that they thought they saw Østergaard near the lake.
Oberägeri, where the body was found, is about five to ten kilometres east of the Lake of Zug.
