A dead woman was discovered floating in Copenhagen Harbour by rowers last night.
Police say that documents found on the woman gave a strong indication of her identity, but that her family had yet to be informed.
“The final identification will take place later today,” a police spokesperson told metroxpress. “We are trying to find her relatives so we can inform them, which is why we are not yet ready to report who we think it is.”
The woman was found last night at 7:30pm floating by Langebro bridge on the Amager side of Copenhagen Harbour.
Her body was transported to the University of Copenhagen's forensics department, where an autopsy will determine how long she had been in the water.
The police said that there is no indication that her death was linked to any criminal activity.
