Police round up cash and suspects on Pusher Street

Two arrests this week in busts that net over 60 kilos of cannabis

Copenhagen Police are continuing their assault on Christiania’s drug trade.

The 51-year-old suspect in a September bust that netted 28 kilos of cannabis and over 2,000 joints turned himself in on Monday.

The following day, a 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with a bust two weeks ago that brought in 35 kilos of hash, nearly 5,000 joints and 350 hash cakes.

Police said that the efforts were part of their strategy to target buyers, sellers and suppliers in Christiania.

The 47-year-old was remanded into custody for distribution of narcotics on Wednesday.
