National police: No Dane involved in child porn ring

Rigspolitiet says suspicions against a Danish man are groundless

The national police have refuted reports that a Dane was among those involved in a large international paedophile ring ran out of the Philippines.

The BBC reported yesterday that Denmark was one of 12 countries involved in the paedophilia ring, but Rigspolitiet said the suspicions about a Danish man’s involvement in the case are groundless.

An investigation by the British National Crime Agency found that child abuse was being live streamed from a location in the Philippines. In connection with the investigation, fifteen children between the ages of 6-15 were rescued from their abusers.
