Drake cancels concert due to illness

Roskilde Festival looking for another artist to perform in his place

Canadian rapper Drake was supposed to wrap up proceedings on the Orange Scene at the Roskilde Festival on Sunday, but a sudden illness has led to him canceling the concert, the festival has announced.

His condition means he won't be performing in London or Birmingham this weekend either.

"To my beloved fans, it truly breaks my heart that I won't be able to perform as planned at Wireless and Roskilde this weekend," Drake said in a statement.

The festival organisers are currently looking for a replacement and will soon make his revised program public. Kayne West has already been confirmed as his replacement in London.
