Flight Search flies into Scandinavia

Google service goes local

As of today, residents of Denmark, Norway and Sweden will be able to access Google’s Flight Search service which enables users to search for flights directly from the search screen in their native language together with pricing in their local currency – which they can then compare and book.

“If you access Flight Search, you’ll immediately see the price, duration and type of flight for several popular destinations based on your preferences and previous searches," writes Google in its travel blog. "If you set your dates and tap to expand the map, you’ll see live prices for destinations around the world."

Once you’ve selected your desired destination, you’ll automatically be shown a list of ‘Best flights’.

Flight search is available in Denmark at www.google.dk/flights/.
